Birthday Box - Small Dog

Dogs love parties too!  The PetCakes birthday box for dogs is the first ever complete DIY pet party.  It comes complete with everything you need to celebrate your pampered pets.  This adorable keepsake box includes cake, frosting and ice cream mixes, re-usable pans, sprinkles, a party candle and paw print balloon. 

The cake mix is cheese flavored and the frosting is yogurt flavored & ice cream mix is honey yogurt flavored. The mixes are healthy and human grade ingredients without any salt, sugar, preservatives and no wheat, corn or soy.  The cakes cook in less than 3 minutes in the microwave.  It’s so easy to make, just add 1/3 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of yogurt to the mix, pour into pan and microwave for 2 ½ minutes.  The frosting is made of de-hydrated yogurt.  Just add 1 tablespoon of water and yogurt to the mix and you are ready to decorate your bone-shaped cake!  Add the candle when you are ready for the party.

I recommend plain or Greek yogurt without added flavors.  You can substitute the yogurt with peanut butter, canned pumpkin, honey or unsweetened applesauce.  Make sure the cake is completely cooled before you make the frosting.  The frosting is white, but you can add your own food coloring if you want.

The ice cream contains collagen and turmeric which aids with hip and joint support.  It’s so easy to make, just add water to the mix and freeze for 3 hours.  You can decorate both the cake and ice cream with the sprinkles.

I recommend making the ice cream first because it takes longer.  The small dogs get 3 small cups for their ice cream and the large dog will use the bone shaped pan for their ice cream.

Each kit comes with a reusable pan that is BPA Free and microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.  The small dogs get a purple 3 bone cavity shaped pan and each bone measures approximately 3 inches by 1 inch by 1 inch.
