Party Questions
When are the parties held?
Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays between 10am to 6pm. We are booking parties from January through June only. Parties can be booked online at iLovePetCakes.com or call us at 859-620-2525.
How long do the parties last?
Each party is allotted 1.5 hours (90 minutes). You do have the option to book 2 parties back to back for 3 hours. Ask us about this option if interested.
What happens at the parties?
Each participant will have 2 full baking experiences (25 minutes each), “adopt” a stuffed toy dog (10 min), open gifts (15 minutes), receive a free PetCakes gift and have Photo Booth opportunities (15 minutes). The kids will make, bake and decorate a PetCake + ice cream for their dogs (or donate to a non-profit). We will then make, bake and decorate a human bone-shaped cupcake for the kids to eat at the party + ice cream. “Adopt” a stuffed dog toy with a photo of an adoptable dog. We will then open gifts and you can take lots of photos in the social media worthy photo booth.
How much are the parties?
PetCakes Parties $40per person and is community driven because $5 of that will go to a local pet charity that we highlight each month (minimum of 8 guests and maximum of 15 guests). That means you can raise $40-$75 per party for your favorite pet non-profit!
Are the parties just for kids?
No, we are offering parties to adults for Bachelorette parties and activities for friends get togethers. We are offering the 6pm-8pm time slot for adults.
Can we bring dogs or cats to the parties?
As much as we love our animals, NO you may not bring any animals. Our insurance does not cover that. Our rental agreement forbids animals. However, you can purchase PetCakes birthday party kits to create your own pet parties at home!
Where is parking?
There is a huge parking lot across the street with ample paid parking.
Can I bring our own cake and ice cream?
Yes, if you want to bring additional cake and ice cream we can box the bone-shaped cakes that the kids make for them to take home.
Where are the parties held?
Our location is 114 W. Pike Street Covington, KY 41011. We have partnered with Aviatra Accelerator to host our parties at their location.
DOG CAKES Questions
What is a PetCakes?
PetCakes are the first ever DIY microwaveable pet treats you make at home in minutes- just add water. I created PetCakes in 2010 after I realized my adopted dog Bella had allergies to wheat, corn and soy. I started cooking for her turned it into a business and now she is the mascot on every box!
What are the ingredients in a PetCake?
Oat flour, brown rice flour, flax seed powder, cinnamon, baking soda & baking powder. There is NO wheat corn soy or added salt, sugar or preservatives in our mixes.
What is the dog frosting made of?
Our frosting is only one ingredient and that is dehydrated yogurt. We add Greek yogurt to the dried yogurt to make our frosting.
HUMAN CAKES & ICE CREAM Questions
What do you use for the human bone-shaped cakes?
We use Pillsbury Funfetti cake mix and follow the instructions on the box.What is the human frosting made of?We use Pillsbury frosting for easy spreading. Our preferred flavors are Vanilla, Strawberry and Cream Cheese whipped frosting.
What do you use for the human ice cream?
We use vanilla ice cream cups.
What is the shelf life?
In general, you have a year from the date of purchase. Every item is shipped with a “Best By Date" sticker. However, if you keep the mix stored in a cool, dry environment, they will last much longer.

PetCakes are all made in the USA. Our patented pans are created in Wisconsin and our healthy mixes are bagged and blended in Illinois. The finished product is fulfilled and shipped from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Opening Presents & Seating
Is there time for opening presents during the party?
Yes. Each party includes dedicated time for opening presents so the Guest of Honor can celebrate with friends and family.
Is there seating available for parents and guests?
Absolutely. We provide comfortable couches and chairs for kids and parents to sit and watch the entire session.
Are refreshments provided for guests?
Yes. Lemonade and water are served during the party for both kids and parents to enjoy.

"ADOPTABLE” Dog Stuffed Toys Questions
Do the kids actually adopt dogs?
NO, they get to pick out a stuffed toy dog with a carry case to bring home. They also receive a picture of an adoptable dog from a local shelter we highlight each month. The kids will each get a toy to take home and they get to give back at the same time as we donate $5 per toy to the local shelter.
Spin the Wheel
What is the “Spin the Wheel” experience for the birthday child?
The Guest of Honor gets to spin our prize wheel during the party and receive a FREE PetCakes kit as their birthday gift from us.
What prizes can the Guest of Honor win?
The FREE gift options include a PetCakes Birthday Box ($26), PetCakes Baking Box ($26), PetCakes Birthday Cake Kit ($12), or the PetCakes Cookbook ($14).

What does the photo booth area include?
